Wall tile and floor tile do have some overlap, but there are different types of ratings for each type of tile (friction, hardness/durability, and so on) – and it’s important to use the correct type of tile for your job.  At Van Isle Tile, we’re happy to offer suggestions based on your requirements, and of course when you visit tile supply warehouses, the more information you collect from both the staff there, and the tile manufacturers, the better.
